Description |
I was lucky enough to connect with Rob and Marcel Eder, Holland, sons of Ko Eder of
Eder-Leiskamp combination. When the old man was forced to give up his birds, neither realized
how much they would miss the sport. In the winter of 2008/2009, they decided to continue on with
their fathers passion. They have bought back some of their old breeders and have purchased the
breeders of their old friend, Mark Tillemans who has decided to quit for health reasons. They have
also acquired direct Delbars from Maurice {Mick} Delbar, three pair of older breeders and twenty
youngsters off the other breeders. Their loft now consists of birds that are from and responsible for
many 1st place winners at the National and International level of long distance racing. The sterke
Barcelona from van de Slik who himself was 1st National Barcelona, is responsible for 1st
National Dax 2 times, 1st National Barcelona 4 times, 1st National Bourdeaux, !st National Pau.
The birds of Braakhuis, won 2nd, 11th, 22nd National Barcelona, 18th National Bergerac, 10th
National Hof, 4th National Dax, 4th National St. Vincent, 1st National Dax and so on.This year,
2009, Mick Delbar won 1st Semi National Brive against 4800 birds and was 2nd Champion loft
Belgium at the Long distance races in 2008.The Eders have agreed to sell some of their 2009
youngsters on our site and we will feature these over the next few weeks. These birds have just
finished there quarantine with Cliff Jones, Toronto, who will gladly fill you in on the quality and
health of these birds.
